Twenty-eight GHSC members teed it up for a mid-summer scramble event at Beaverdale Golf Course on July 30th.

The day was highlighted by a hole-in-one scored by Rick McKinney. In a shotgun start, Rick and his playing companions teed off on the fourth hole. Rick's first swing of the day found the cup on the 114 yard hole.

The team of Jim Wilhelm, Gunnar Eriksson and Rick McKinney finished first in the classic club event, with a round of 60.

A second threesome of Patti Coulter, Russell Dick and Bill Stewart shot a one-under par 66.

In the hickory division, Carol Ann Achtymichuk, Gerald Achtymichuk, Ron Dunn and Paul Dietz shot a 59, highlighted by Dunn's putting.

In second place, with a 65 – Ian Clarke, Frank Collis, Don Donaghey, Doug Marshall

4th – at 70 – Pat Mihm, Bill Vossen, Tony Matlock, Ken Leedham
