Hickory Hackers Scramble

The third and final Hickory Hackers' Scramble for 2015 was played at Conestoga Country Club on Friday, August 21.

Thirty-one players (including three ladies) enjoyed the overcast day on the links.

The course played long but scores were good.

The low round of the day, a 66, was shot by the team of Vern P., Bill Stewart, Don Donaghey and Frank Whelan.

A show of hands during the awards presentation indicated that ten of the thirty-one players in attendance were new to our hickory golf get togethers in 2015.

Hopefully 2016 will produce a similar increase. Come out to our hickory events and join the fun.
