21 members of the GHSC participated with 44 club members of the Midland GC Saturday August 3rd in celebration of the club's 100th anniversary. The host club were most welcoming and had prepared a great scramble start for us. The weather was fantastic and the course played well. A large tent was set up outside for everyone to enjoy a lovely chicken and rib dinner with live entertainment by "Bing". A great time was had by all.

The golf course was designed by Nicol Thompson oldest brother of the famous family. He was longtime Pro at Hamilton Golf and Country Club and designed a number of courses in Ontario. It is a fine layout which ranks up there with many of the fine traditional courses we have played.

Thanks to our photographers for the day, Stan Lapidus, Lorne Emery and Margaret Marshall.
