GHSC News Item: July 10, 2023 (updated August 16, 2023) – Brantford GCC in July (2023) Reported by: Alan Lew, GHSC Hickory Ambassador.

On July 25, 2023, GHSC Members and Guests played a round of hickory golf at Brantford Golf and Country Club. The last time GHSC visited this wonderful and historical golf course was back in July 2021.

Here were some key details:

• Location:  BRANTFORD GCC, 60 Ava Road. Brantford, ON. N3T 5R7.
• Date/Time: Tuesday July 25, 2023.  1:00 pm onwards for tee-offs. 
• Cost (18 holes):  $95 (walking); $120 (riding); plus HST. 
• Event Contact:  Lorne Emery.

Brantford GCC is the fourth oldest golf club in North America. It was founded in 1879 and relocated to its current location in 1906. In 1920, Nichol Thompson, George Cumming and Stanley Thompson redesigned and upgraded the course and clubhouse.

Recently, some additional changes were made to the golf course by the Club.
