Classic Steel Winter Golf (2021)

Mike Stephenson (in red) and friends

GHSC News Item: November 19, 2021 Classic Steel Play

Location: Somewhere in Southern Ontario

Reported by: Lorne Emery, GHSC Membership Secretary & Board Member

Lorne Emery suggests that classic steel golf is a great alternative to hickory golf when the weather is not the greatest. This way your hickories remain inside where they’re warm and safe.

Here, Lorne Emery, Mike Stephenson and Russell Dick (left to right) enjoy some winter golf, without their hickories. Gerald Achtymichuk is taking the picture.

There are 2-3 courses in Southern Ontario micro-climates that remain open for winter golf if the conditions are reasonable. Contact Lorne directly for this useful information.
