Come and join us for Part II of the GHSC GUTTYFEST at Oak Gables in Ancaster, Ontario. This is a followup to the Part I event held on Friday, August 5, 2022.

A gathering occurred at Oak Gables Ancaster….. who knew?

It really is amazing how he knew about our gowf match…. So the moral is don’t be the ones that “Stay hame”….. come oot an’ play gowf…!!!

The skirmish against this course for Part II is:

• THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2022
• FIRST TEE OFF 10:00am (so better check in at 09:30 latest)
• COST:  18 HOLES WALKING $30 (VIP rate)
• CART:   $12.50 PER PERSON
• MEAL (optional):   $17  HICKORY BURGER, FRIES AND ONE DRAUGHT

“A Flight” Pre-1900 clubs and Gutty balls (unless you have a dodgy lie and prefer to lose a modern ball). Yellow tee blocks will be used. Scoring shall be our regular Stableford system. (In the event of a tie, pistols shall be used because we’re not cowardly).

“NOT A Flight“, Post-1900’s, Pyratone with modern balls, classic clubs or even a rock and a stick can be used just to join in the fun. Tartan tee blocks were going to be used but couldn’t find paint so white tee blocks will be fine.

Let’s get Historical Gowf (yes it is spelled correctly) off the ground again with this event. Have fun and celebrate history.

Please sign up early so we know how many foursomes we need. Loaner pre-1900 clubs are available (reserve early ….. sobbing frowned upon if you miss it).
